Synopsis
The Creeps work at the Department Store. As usual, the work doesn't go without complications...
Plot
A new department store is opened at the city. The shop's manager has hired the Creeps to work there. Dingbat receives a phone call, that the cargo van has just brought supplies for the shelves, so the Creeps fetch the delivery from the ghastly-looking van with "Trans-Transylvania" markings. The manager isn't impressed with the wares brought to his store, especially he's not fond of the multi-sleeved pullover.
Their first clients are a lady customer, who brought her son for shopping. The youngster is behaving typically for his age and nationality, chewing bubble gum in public places and getting dirty with it. Dingbat tries to impress the boy by chewing the gum himself - he does indeed create a bubblegum orb, which covers all the Creeps. The youngster pierces the orb, rendering the ghastly shop assistants sticking in bubblegum. It turns out the Creeps' clients are looking for new shoes for the boy. The selection is quite bulky, though not fitting the fashion - Dingbat offers what appears to be crocodile heads with holes to wear on feet, Sparerib suggests monster feet and horseshoes, and Nobody summons animated red sneakers. Sparerib makes up an idea to fit the customer's foot to a box, so they can find fitting footgear. As good as the plan is, it winds up into a disaster, as boxes with shoes pin down the Creeps.
Dingbat and Nobody emerge under the avalanche, Sparerib doesn't. Dingbat finds his bones in one of the boxes and prepares a sandwich, which he abandons. After he leaves, regenerated Sparerib appears between the loaf halves. It turns out, that the young customer demands candy and Dingbat is serving him chocolated boiled from a syrup. The young customer doesn't get what he wants, as Dingbat sucks the chocolate candy with a straw, which disgusts the boy. Nobody and Sparerib witness that, the walking pumpkin scolds Dingbat for failing to handle a customer properly. The vampire dog claims to be innocent, while the boy heads towards the toy department. After trying out toys in stock, he gets scared off by a ghastly jack-in-the-box variant and destroys the toy, then he attemps to climb the shelves. As a result, the shelves collapse with goods on them.
The Creeps find the young customer making quite a bad mess inside the toy department, though the child remains unhappy. Sparerib presents him a skateboard shaped like a coffin - quite surprisingly, the child enjoys it. However, the Creeps have to flee from the skateboard, as the child doesn't control it and keeps generating additional disorder inside the store. The Creeps are trying to stop the child from wreaking havoc - Dingbat morphs into his bat form, while Sparerib and Nobody set an ambush inside the sports department - the skeleton morphs himself into bowling pins and Nobody pretends to be the ball. The plan doesn't go well, as the boy on the skateboard tries to swat Dingbat using a tennis racket and uses Nobody as a bowling ball. The two Creeps team member fall - Sparerib morphs into a wagon and manages to intercept falling Nobody.
The child shows his mother and the store manager, what has he done with the Creeps, then he takes them outside and the episode ends.
