Mr. Nutmeg, usually referred to as Grandpa, is the grandfather of Iggy Nutmeg and one of the owners of Heathcliff.

Mr. Nutmeg seems to have an independent, responsible attitude. He is easily angered by Heathcliff's tricks and tends to want to be left alone, as seen in the beginning of the first episode, Smoke Gets in my Eyes.
Appearance[]
Mr. Nutmeg appears to be wearing a light grey, short-sleeved shirt with a dark red bowtie and a blue vest. He is usually seen wearing a pair of glasses and holding a pipe in his hands.

Mr. Nutmeg made his first animated apperance in Heathcliff and Dingbat. Mr. Nutmeg rarely ever appears in the series, He only appearing in two episodes, He is never appeared in the house where he, Mrs. Nutmeg, Iggy and Heathcliff live. He exclusively appeared in the fairytale theme episodes, where he is wearing different outifts for those specific episode. His first appearance in Heathcliff & the Sleeping Beauty, he appears as a king. In his second and last appearance in Pinocchio Rides Again, he appears in the role as Mr. Geppetto. Both of his appearance are he has a minor supporting role for the series. Mr. Nutmeg appeared with his usual outfit clothing from the comic strip seen in one unanimated part of the outro.
Mr. Nutmeg does not appear in the second series Heathcliff and Marmaduke and is completely absent.
A few years later, the third series, Heathcliff & the Catillac Cats, Mr. Nutmeg now appears frequently and a major character in the series.
