Transcript[]
(The episode starts at the junkyard where the Catillac Cats live. We then see Riff-Raff walking with his friends Hector, Wordsworth and Mungo, who are all carrying some stuff to help re-decorate Riff-Raff's place.)
Hector: Why are you re-decorating your place? Or should I say, why are WE re-decorating your place?
Riff-Raff: Cleo thinks the place needs fixing up.
Mungo: Uhh, how come you've never fixed the place up when we told you what a dump it was?
Hector: Think about it, genius...
Mungo: Uh, okay...
(He lets one of his hands go of the pipe he's carrying, which causes the pipe to fall on Hector's foot.)
Hector: YEO-O-O-OW!
Riff-Raff: Now be careful with that stuff. It's valuable merchandise.
(Cleo is then seen running to Riff-Raff.)
Riff-Raff: Hello there, gorgeous...
Cleo: Riff-Raff, I have to talk to you right now.
Riff-Raff: Sure thing, Cleo.
(Scene transitions to Riff-Raff and Cleo trying to get inside of his plane-house.)
Riff-Raff: Mungo, get the door. Mungo, get the door...
Mungo: Uhh, okay.
(Mungo accidentally hits Hector and Wordsworth with the pipe he's holding.)
Hector: Aaah!
Wordsworth: Now I'm lying in the dirt, and think my body's hurt.
Riff-Raff: Lose the pipe, Mungo.
Mungo: Uhh okay, Riff-Raff...
(Mungo then drops the pipe on Hector and Wordsworth.)
Wordsworth: Lots of things I do for fun, but getting squashed by pipes ain't one...
(Scene transitions to Riff-Raff and Cleo inside the plane-house. Riff-Raff gets on his hammock.)
Riff-Raff: What's up, Cleo?
Cleo: I'm gonna be locked up...
Riff-Raff: What?
(Riff-Raff jumps off of his hammock, climbs up a rope to the ceiling of his plane-house and grabs a pair of binoculars attached to another rope and looks out the window.)
Riff-Raff: You weren't followed, were you?
Cleo: Followed by whom?
Riff-Raff: The cops?
Cleo: I'm not being locked up by the cops, I'm being locked up by my owner.
Riff-Raff: What are you talking about?
Cleo: My owner is going out of town for a couple of days and I'm being boarded at Kitty Kat Kennels. (cringes)
Riff-Raff: Not to worry, Cleo. I've got a plan. Right after your owner drops you off at the kennels, the boys and me will break you out.
Cleo: Are you sure?
Riff-Raff: Trust me...
(Scene fades to black and fades into Kitty Kat Kennels, where the gang is preparing to break Cleo out. The gang attempts to break into the building by charging with a log.)
Riff-Raff: On the count of three, we break it down...
Hector: One, two, three!
(Hector, Wordsworth and Mungo start charging with the log, while Riff-Raff ends up falling down. Hector, Wordsworth and Mungo ram the door with the log, but it doesn't break the door.)
Riff-Raff: Way to go, guys! One more time oughta do it. Uh oh, someone's coming. Quick! In the bushes...
(The gang hides under some bushes. A van drives to the entrance of the kennel, then a man gets out of the car and grabs a box out of the trunk of the van and walks to the door.)
Riff-Raff: I've got an idea! Hector, grab the door.
(Hector sneaks to the door as the man walks into the kennel. Hector then grabs the door as it's about to close. Hector tries to hold on to the door, then the door shuts on his hands.)
Hector: YEO-O-O-O-OW! Get me outta here!
Riff-Raff: Pull him out...
Mungo: Okay, Riff-Raff.
Hector: (screaming)
(Mungo pulls Hector's hands out of the door. Riff-Raff looks through the keyhole.)
Riff-Raff: Hey, somebody's coming. Now, when he comes out, Mungo, you grab the door.
(Riff-Raff, Hector and Wordsworth run back to the bushes to hide and Mungo goes next to the door. The man walks out of the kennel.)
Riff-Raff: Now, Mungo! Grab it!
(Mungo grabs and holds on to the door as it's about to close. Riff-Raff, Hector and Wordsworth go inside of the kennel while Mungo stays to hold the door.)
Riff-Raff: Good job, Mungo! You hold the door until we get back...
(Scene transitions to Riff-Raff, Hector and Wordsworth in another section of the kennel looking for Cleo.)
Riff-Raff: I don't see her out here...
(Riff-Raff, Hector and Wordsworth sneak through the outside of the kennel and then hide behind a cactus.)
Riff-Raff: She must be in her room... We're almost there. Now remember, be quiet.
Hector: Be quiet...
Wordsworth: Yeah, like be-
(Wordsworth points at the cactus, causing it to tip over. The gang runs inside to one of the kennel's hallways.)
Riff-Raff: Alright, we gotta find Cleo. Just act like you belong here...
Wordsworth: Ain't no way in this kind of place you'll find a cat with this kind of face. (shrugs)
(Riff-Raff opens a door to see if Cleo is in there.)
Riff-Raff: Cleo? Cleo? You in there?
(A lion roar is heard, which scares Riff-Raff. The door is then shut.)
Riff-Raff: Not Cleo...
(Riff-Raff walks to another door and opens it, but ends up getting snatched inside.)
Wordsworth: I know he was here, but he disappear...ed.
(Hector and Wordsworth open the door to see what's going on. A gray female cat with white hair and a yellow bow-tie flirts with Riff-Raff.)
Female Cat: I'm so happy you finally came to get me...
(The female cat walks to a window with Riff-Raff.)
Female Cat: Why, I've always depended on the kindness of strangers.
(The female cat snuggles with Riff-Raff. He runs away from her room and Hector and Wordsworth start running along with him.)
Female Cat: Turkeys...
Riff-Raff: We've gotta find Cleo and get her outta this place!
Wordsworth: Yeah, a cat's gotta be free on the streets, not locked up like some kind of creep...
Hector: (confused) Huh?
(Riff-Raff thinks about opening another door, but he feels hesitant about opening it.)
Riff-Raff: Hmm... Hector, check in there.
(Hector opens the door and falls down.)
Hector: Who-o-ah!
(Wordsworth and Riff-Raff panic and start running away. Then Cleo comes out of her room.)
Riff-Raff: Cleo!
Cleo: I thought you'd never get here. Come on, let's get going!
(Riff-Raff, Cleo, Hector and Wordsworth start running to the exit, which is where Mungo is. He sees the gang running to the door.)
Mungo: Oh boy, here they come! Hurry up, you guys!
(Mungo lets go of the door and it starts shutting.)
Riff-Raff: Mungo, the door!
(Mungo tries to run back to the door to hold on to it, but the door closes just before he can make it, leaving them trapped inside of the kennel.)
Hector: We're trapped!
Cleo: (sarcastically) Well, congratulations! You're the first cats to leave themselves at a kennel. I think I'll go back to my room...
Riff-Raff: We're all going back to your room. Don't worry, I'll get us outta here...
Hector: How are you gonna do that?
Riff-Raff: You are gonna dig a tunnel...
(Scene transitions to Cleo's room. The gang looks at a map to find a way out of the kennel.)
Riff-Raff: All you have to do is dig from here to here and we'll be out. Mungo, you start digging. Wordsworth, you hold the dirt. And Hector, you pile it in the corner.
(Mungo, Wordsworth and Hector all frown as they're being told what to do.)
Hector: What are you gonna be doing while we're digging?
Riff-Raff: (soothing) I'll be busy...
(Scene transitions to a montage of Mungo digging a long tunnel under the kennel, Wordsworth putting the dirt that was shoveled in a bucket and then giving the bucket full of dirt to Hector to pile it in the corner until they eventually get tired.)
Mungo: (yelling) I think we're almost there!
Riff-Raff: Looks like we'll be out any minute, Cleo...
(A loud crash is heard, and it appears that Mungo dug from one end of the room to another.)
Mungo: (excitedly) We're out! We're out! (confused) Gee Riff-Raff, how'd you get out here?
Riff-Raff: I'm not out, you're in. You guys dug from one end of the room to the other...
Wordsworth: (exhausted) Should've got a mole to dig this hole...
Riff-Raff: It looks like I'm gonna have to do this myself. Wordsworth, you hold the map.
Wordsworth: I'd be at home taking a nap, not standing in the dirt holding a map.
Riff-Raff: Follow me!
(The gang jumps into the hole to find their way out of the kennel.)
Riff-Raff: That should do it. Just break that dirt above your head, Mungo, and we're out...
Mungo: (excitedly) Oh boy, we're out!
(Mungo shovels the dirt above him and the dirt starts falling on everybody. Scene transitions to the gang climbing out of the hole.)
Riff-Raff: (confidently) I told you I'd get us out.
(A large group of angry dogs come out of the kennel and start chasing after the gang.)
Wordsworth: I have my doubts about being out...
Riff-Raff: Cover us, Mungo.
(The gang goes inside the hole they dug, except for Mungo, who's too big to fit inside the hole. A few dogs start bumping into Mungo's body.)
Hector: Let's get outta here!
(Hector and Wordsworth push Mungo into the hole, but they both get stuck.)
Wordsworth: Just my luck, I think I'm stuck.
(Hector pushes Wordsworth into the hole. Wordsworth is then launched back into Cleo's room.)
Wordsworth: Aaa-a-ah! My head is so full of pain, I hope I didn't break my brain.
(Scene transitions to the group of dogs that had bumped into Mungo earlier being scolded by a black poodle.)
Poodle: I saw that. You dogs are pitiful. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Now go teach those cats a lesson...
(The dogs become angry and start growling.)
Poodle: Now go get them!
(The dogs run into the poodle and start looking for the gang.)
Poodle: Yeah, we'll show them...
Riff-Raff: Here they come... let's get outta here!
(The gang runs out of Cleo's room to escape. Then the dogs jump into the hole to find them. They search through Cleo's room. Then they run out of the room. Scene transitions to the gang in another section of the kennel, but this time, they're really trapped.)
Hector: Now we're really trapped!
Riff-Raff: (confidently) Relax, I'll think of a way out...
Hector: It's your thinking that got us into this mess!
(The gang angrily glares at Riff-Raff.)
Riff-Raff: And I suppose you could've done better?
Hector: Sure I could've!
(The group of angry dogs start running out of the kennel ready to attack the gang.)
Cleo: (scared) Well, here's your chance. Let's see what you can do...
Hector: (nervous) Okay... uh-uh.. first we should... uh... Mungo, you should throw something at those dogs to stop them.
Mungo: Uhh, like what, Hector?
Hector: I don't care... throw anything!
Mungo: Anything, Hector?
Hector: Just do it, Mungo!
Mungo: Okay, Hector...
(Mungo picks up Hector.)
Hector: NOT MEE-E-EE!
(Mungo throws Hector at some of the dogs, knocking them out.)
Wordsworth: Nice throw, Mungo...
(Wordsworth shakes Mungo's hand, then a dog runs into Wordsworth, he then lands on the dog and does tricks on it.)
Wordsworth: Whoa-wow-woo-woah! Ta-da! Riding like this, I'll never fall, unless we hit a great big...
(The dog bumps into Mungo, causing Wordsworth to fall.)
Wordsworth: ...wall!
(The dogs start growling and they gang up on Mungo.)
Hector: All those dogs against Mungo, shouldn't we help?
Riff-Raff: No, there's nothing we can do about it. Poor doggies...
(The dogs then start attacking Mungo, but then Mungo starts beating up the dogs as they're attacking him. As Mungo and the dogs are fighting, the kennel ends up getting destroyed in the process.)
Mungo: Uh, take that! Take that!
Riff-Raff: (whistles) Mungo, you can stop now...
(Mungo stops fighting the dogs.)
Mungo: I can?
(The black poodle then walks up to the injured dogs and scolds them again.)
Poodle: You guys make me sick!
(The dogs get angry and start chasing after the poodle.)
Riff-Raff: Now that that's over with, let's get outta here. I'll have this door open in just a minute.
Cleo: Fine, I'll wait for you on the other side...
(Cleo walks out of the destroyed kennel through a broken wall.)
Riff-Raff: (confidently) I told you I'd get you outta here.
Cleo: (sarcastically) Yeah, my hero...
(Riff-Raff smiles as he turns to face everyone, and winks.)
