The Secret of Captain Katt's Treasure[]
The story begins with Heathcliff fleeing from an angry crowd at the beach while pulling a cart with soda bottles. Iggy calls Heathcliff to hide behind an umbrella he's occupying. It turns out that Heathcliff was supposed to collect soda bottles after the people empty them, but he snatched the unemptied ones instead. Iggy needs empty bottles to receive a nickel per bottle, so he would buy tickets to the newly-opened amusement park.
Iggy and Heathcliff head to find additional bottles when they spot another one in the water, brought by the tide. Having been soaked by the water, Iggy notices the bottle contains a paper piece, which turns out to be a pirate's treasure map, leading to Captain Katt's hoard. Iggy mentions that the toughest and nasties feline pirate, who sailed the seven seas, was also Heathcliff's uncle.
Shortly afterward, Iggy is counting the money they earned from the empty soda bottles while accompanied by Heathcliff. Muggsy and Spike are observing them behind the street's corner, plotting to take over the map.
Iggy and Heathcliff head to the point, where an old oak tree near Elm Street is supposed to be located, which turns out to be covered by a newly-built amusement park. Iggy expresses his fear, that the map might be useless, though they give a try and buy tickets to the park.
Iggy and Heathcliff find the original old oak tree growing in the middle of the amusement park, in unscathed condition. Muggsy and Spike, who have been tailing Iggy and Heathcliff, sneak past them and snatch the map from Iggy. The thieves head to the rollercoaster before Iggy and Heathcliff make it through, though Heathcliff laughs as Muggsy and Spike, as it turns out that the rollercoaster renders its passengers without their loot, so Iggy can retrieve the map. Muggsy and Spike end the rollercoaster ride frightened.
Further reading reveals that the treasure is apparently buried under the tunnel of love. The ticket booth employee stops them when they try entering the tunnel with digging gear. Iggy explains that they are looking for the treasure left by his cat's uncle and they'd like to dig it up. The guard takes Iggy's words as a joke, which gives Iggy and Heathcliff time to sneak past into the tunnel. Muggsy and Spike use disguises taken from a photo booth to sneak past the sentry, who does find them looking weird as a couple.
Heathcliff and Iggy are looking for an X mark while traveling down the stream. They spot the marker on an island in the middle of the stream, not being aware of Muggsy and Spike discovering the spot as well. While Iggy and Heathcliff are celebrating their discovery, Muggsy and Spike take over the treasure chest. Heathcliff takes a bucket and a scooper to chase Muggsy and Spike down the stream and fights them for the chest. Muggsy and Spike lose combat with Heathcliff and emerge from the tunnel beaten up. The guard admits that the couple's romance was short-lived, still mistaking Muggsy and Spike as a couple. Iggy promises Heathcliff to buy lots of toys for himself and an entire tuna fleet for Heathcliff an entire tuna fleet for the booty they expect to find inside the chest.
The treasure turns out disappointing - the chest contains only a photograph of Heathcliff posing with his uncle Captain Katt and it takes Iggy two attempts to spot it. Iggy claims the photo makes nice memorabilia, but Heathcliff disagrees. Back home, Iggy claims that Heathcliff accepted the defeat, and his grandfather claims to see snow falling. Those "snowflakes" are the photo pieces Heathcliff is tearing apart in anger, that he did not obtain the treasure he counted on.
Mousecapades[]
While walking around the kitchen, Mr. Nutmeg witnesses mice stealing food from the fridge. The rodents have built a bridge from lasagna sheets as the walking surface and a tuna can, a pickle jar, and a glass soda bottle acting as pillars. Heathcliff is sleeping nearby, apparently unaware of mice raiding the fridge. Mr. Nutmeg wakes up Heathcliff by yelling at him, which also alarms the mice.
Mr. Nutmeg threatens Heathcliff that he shall not receive food until he gets rid of the mice at home. Being faced with such a perspective, Heathcliff gathers mouse traps and sets them around the mousehole. Those devices don't work as they should - the mice disarm them and use for a stunt show.
Heathcliff attempts to get rid of the mice with water, by using a water hose from the garage. The idea also backfires, as the mice called Lou and Sid arrange a swimming pool. One of the mice admits that Heathcliff is their best pal, as he takes away the hose. Heathcliff attempts to ambush the mice, but he acts too slowly. The mice organize toy car racing at home, apparently to mock Heathcliff being too slow to catch them.
Being faced with the possibility of starvation, Heathcliff offers the mice a deal. They sign a contract, which states that the mice won't show to humans on sight, but Heathcliff has to feed them as their butler.
Ghost in the Outfield[]
Iggy, Muggsy, and their pets are playing baseball near an old wooden mansion. Muggsy and Spike are winning 18:2 against Iggy and Heathcliff. The cat strikes the ball and it reaches the house's window, which is called "The Old McMurkle's Mansion". The boys send Heathcliff there to retrieve the ball. Muggsy claims the mansion is haunted, Iggy disagrees with him.
Heathcliff enters the old building, despite the fear he feels inside. It turns out that ghosts living in the mansion are using the ball Heathcliff stroke to play baseball at their lair. Heathcliff still feels frightened. One of the ghosts strikes the ball so strong, that Heathcliff managed to snatch it. The undead spot Heathcliff and he has to flee before the ghosts. One of the undead manages to tail Heathcliff outside the mansion to the open area. Muggsy sees Heathcliff with the ball and tells him to come back, then the ghost offers Heathcliff a deal to help him in the game against Muggsy.
The ghastly helper does give Heathcliff and Iggy an advantage over Muggsy and Spike, who eventually lose the game with a home run for Heathcliff. Having won the game, Iggy is wondering, what happened to the ball. It turns out that the ghosts from McMurkle's mansion took it over.
